Fit, Or No Fit?

Far quicker than last time, I’m hitting the point of being totally in between. Old clothes are quickly becoming too small, while maternity stuff is still mostly too big.

Every morning I play the “Fit, or no fit” game with my closet. If it’s not made of stretchy jersey, it basically doesn’t fit anymore.

So I’m going to enjoy these last few days of my closet. Savor every moment in my regular clothes. Not spend too long mourning the ones that don’t fit, and may never fit right again.

Dress: LOFT Outlet, Shirt: Gap Outlet, Tank: Old Navy, Belt/Sandals: Target, Necklace: c/o Lisa Leonard Designs

Let’s go Peanut! It’s you and me vs. the closet.

We shall win!

I am totally in the same boat! When are you due? I am due in the beginning of January. I a bit overweight to begin with and I always have battles with my closet. I have just succumbed to maternity clothes since it is pretty simple since they are my work clothes anyway. I can’t really wear jersey dresses in my job as a catering manager. On the weekends, that is another matter.

love your hair! is it easy? can u put up a tutorial?

  3. look at that top knot mama! werk it weeeerk it! I big fluffy heart this outfit, I mean if you WANT to I can totally take some clothes off your hands for the next, oh, 7 or 8 months or so then give ‘em back to ya when munchkin is born? That way you don’t have to look at the “non-maternity” clothes in your closet and be bummed that you’re not sporting them in outfit posts juuuust yet. I know, I’m a really good friend like that.

But hey, at least maternity clothes look waaaaaay cuter than our mom’s times. Pretty sure my mom was rocking a king size pillow case when she was preggers with me.

Hey there! I’ve been meaning to stop by since I met you at Elevate to say how I adore your cuteness and this photo sesh is no exception. You are a doll and though you may not feel like it while you’re in the “in between” stages of clothes (btw I cried the whole month of my 1st pregnancy of the in between because it stunk so bad trying to find office clothes for the in between) but you are glowing and you look amazing! SMOOCHES! Nat
