Do you ever get something stuck in your mind, and you just can’t shake it? For me, it’s been a micro-pleated skirt in a fun bright color. I’ve wanted one for months. I even settled on a gorgeous super sale one from Anthropologie a few months ago, but returned it cause it was pale pink. I don’t want pale pink, I want color!

No surprise, my favorite e-tailer eShakti to the rescue! The skirt of my dreams was waiting for me there! The perfect color, the perfect micro-pleats, and the perfect ability to be made just how I want it. Let’s just say I was beyond ecstatic when I found it.
Oh, and it has pockets. Did I mention my obsession with skirts that have pockets? Don’t know why, but they just make me smile 
This is my third piece from eShakti and I love them all. My dress was made just for me and was the perfect choice for a hot September wedding in Sacramento. The blue and white button-up skirt is such a great classic that I’ll be able to wear it for years. They are all impeccably made, and my favorite, made to my measurements. I even had this skirt made longer to give it a more vintagey look.
Yup, this skirt was definitely worth waiting for!
