Playground Posh: It’s becoming harder and harder to figure out what to wear to Mommy and Me Preschool. What can I put on so I don’t look like I don’t give a rat’s behind, but don’t give a rat’s behind when it’s covered in paint/playdough/snacks/sand/mud….you get the point. So I’m creating a new clothing category, Playground Posh. Cool yet casual. Comfy, yet stylish. And above all…disposable if necessary.

The Timeout Timer: I nabbed this awesome True Birds necklace at a trunk show last week. There were so many amazing headbands, pins, and necklaces that it was tough to narrow it down. But when I saw the little sand timer, it was love. Doesn’t every momma need a portable timeout timer?
HOORAY!!!! THE CRAZIES UPSTAIRS ARE GONE SO I CAN TAKE PICTURES OUT FRONT AGAIN!!!!: If you follow my Facebook ridiculousness, you know that I’ve had some seriously crazy neighbors in the upstairs apartment. Stomping around and slamming doors at 4 in the morning repeatedly was only the beginning. When they finally got into a drunken/drugged fight, fired a gun, and were screaming for help, that was the kicker. Since that was in major violation of their lease, out they went. Sleep, sanity, our shared covered parking, and my front entrance have been reclaimed. AMEN!

Im so with you on needing to find the right outfit for school.. my son is in kindergarten and I go with him once a week… need to definitely find something cute but comfy and something I dont mind getting dirty! Your outfit looks totally cute and comfy. 
Gosh… I need to buy actual shoes lately. Now that it is finally starting to get cold, I better put my flip flops away! 
That green really complements your warm coloring, Nina! And hooray, the crazy neighbors are gone. I’m so glad for you, because I know, as a mom, that would really freak me out. I have a young downstairs neighbor who is occasionally drunk and loud, and I am hoping he won’t be here long, either.
