A hint, just a hint, of Fall has finally decided to show up. It’s gloriously overcast in the morning (so LJ sleeps later! Can I get an AMEN?!), the temps are in the 70s instead of the 80s and 90s, and I can finally convince myself that I won’t sweat to death in some of my Fall gear.

Shirt: Thrifted, Leggings: Target, Belt: Jessica Simpson, Boots: Comfortview, Necklace: Gift
Since I was DYING to wear my new extended shaft “I’m a little too in love with you” boots, I went bold and just wore leggings. Yes, yes, I agree, leggings are not pants! But this shirt is so long, the boots are so high, and I was crawling in and out of a jumpy with LJ. That day, leggings were pants.

Whether or not I will be wearing them as pants again remains to be seen.

I will be back tue night or wed to link up some more. I love the leggings and tunic with the belt. Fall fashion is so comfortable and fun.
I’m with you, Nina! Under the right conditions, leggings can be worn as pants. I’m not sure my body can create those conditions (LOL) but I haven’t completely given up the idea yet. Great outfit!! And thank goodness, there are hints of fall.

Hey, as long as the tushie is covered, leggings absolutely count as pants. Especially when you are toddler wrangling. I love the belted top and boots – you look adorable!
Good point! I’ve been considering a long tunic plus over-the-knee boots combo myself.
Love it Nina! If I had some darling boots, I’d be anxious to pull them out too!
I tried the leggings as pants thing with a tunic sweater. I’m still not sure how it worked out (the first in my linked post), but I was sick and it was a meeting day for our preschool, so I was comfy and semi presentable, I think, and beyond that, I had a hard time caring !
I think when you’re sick, it’s a victory just to get out of your pjs!
Just get some blackout curtains for your son’s room! Works like a charm!
Yes!!! Leggings ARE pants
. Go to American Apparel and get some winter leggings. They’re as thick as jeans, but as comfy as sweatpants.
PS My outfit for the week was totally leggings, a tunic and boots too…great minds think alike
Go for it with the leggings!
I really didn’t think I’d ever like leggings. Until one day last winter when I needed to have them to wear under a dress with boots. That one day I found out they were so wicked comfortable!!!!!!
I love leggings now. I am planning on finding a bunch of sweater dresses to wear with them this season (I hope).
I love the way this all came together! The big shirt with the leggings and boots is just perfect!
Hey Nina, I am too so excited that it has started cooling off just a bit. The weather is perfect in the mornings and evenings now, and I am loving every bit of it.
I am also fond of wearing leggings as pants, lol. Of course paired with a long sweater or shirt, and boots, oh yeah, totally cool girl.
Thanks for hosting mama!!
Hugs, Bella
You are rockin the leggings.
Great boots sometimes demand leggings! So much more comfy than stuffing in jeans into boots! You look adorable!
Hi Nina,
First of all LOVE your name. My grandma’s name was Nina and I named my own daughter after her….
Thank you so much for hosting this party. I’m so glad to have found your blog. I’m linking my vintage dress (#45) and will definitely be back for your next party. Sorry, for the dumb question: how do I vote? Do I vote here or on Facebook?
Thanks!
xx

I love all the awesome belts you use with many of your outfits. Something, I’m going to give a try one of these days…I think it would help me have more of a waistline.
