I don’t think I ever truly understood what love is.
Love is not fancy dinners, surprise vacations, or expensive gifts. Those things are nice, those things are fun, but they are not love.
Holding my hair back when the pickles-french-toast-chocolate-milkshake dinner took revenge on my 5 month pregnant body. Endless backrubs, even when I don’t ask. A little boy asking for snuggles every morning and after every nap.

While I can’t keep them with me all the time, I can keep them close to my heart at all times thanks to Lisa Leonard Designs and my new “My Heart” Necklace.
