Cori makes the.most.fabulous skirts I’ve ever laid my little eyes on. Beautiful fabrics, perfect pleating, fabulous fit…..simply stunning. For months I’ve been not so secretly oogling them all, kicking myself when one sells out before I can get my hands on it. When this little beauty debuted a few weeks ago, I just knew…she had to be mine!

I couldn’t think of a better way to debut my favorite skirt ever than a night out on the town with Hubs to see Les Miserables. A childless night, incredible seats at a fabulous show, my sweetheart on my arm, and my perfect skirt on my booty. Ahhhhh…..

I would style this similar to you, but withba plain white tee rather than a white blouse. I like the blouse, but my white blouse doesn’t button anymore! I would pair with my white lia sophia jewelry and a 4″ pair of white espadrilles! I love the nautical look, and miss anything nautical since moving to the country. Oops! I forgot to tell you how I would style it! My fiance and I just recently got engaged and we’ll be doing our photos soon. I would keep in simple and let the bold pattern of the skirt speak for itself and pair it with a nice fitted white t-shirt (as I’ve seen LVP and Little Miss Momma do in the past). I would finish the look with a simple nude pump. It’s nothing too over the top or fancy but since it would be for an engagement shoot, I really want the focus to be on the love between us and maybe show off the ring a little too!

I have been reading your blog as well as La Vie Petite and LittleMissMomma for a couple of months now (like I check for new posts EVERYDAY)! Hi, I started following MGR after seeing the link on LVP. I’ve loved looking through your blog tonight! As far as styling the skirt goes, I have a coral oxford cloth button up that I bought on vacation this summer but haven’t worn yet, and I think it would look wonderful with this skirt! Add pearls, neutral heels, and a low bun, and I’d be ready to show it off on my first day of teaching or at a writers’ symposium in fall.
