I should have known better.

Just as I was getting hope for some Fall weather around here, SoCal did what it always does…got hotter. End of Aug/all September is always hotter than the rest of the summer.

Heck, last year poor LJ was sweating to death on Halloween in his Elmo fur suit.

Honestly, I’m running out of ideas here folks. Dressing modestly when it’s hot is a challenge. Dressing at all when it’s 105 degrees out is not high on my priority list.

Wearing a sweater over a dress, over a capsleeve when it’s 105 degrees out makes me want to throw my phone out the window. 75…really phone. It didn’t feel like 75 to me, or my car, or the sign at the auto mall.

At least I was smart enough to rock my FAV new hairstyle: The Poofy Ponytail. For days when I have to have my hair up, but need to look like I actually tried. It was my saving grace for this outfit.

So friends, got any ideas for me? How else can I rock a dress or skirt and still stay modest? With at least 4 more weeks of nasty temps, I gotta figure something out!
