If you couldn’t tell by my Facebook ranting and raving last night, I was more thanĀ a little excited to go to a special screening of Harry Potter!!! One of the perks of Hubs’s job is he gets invited to a lot of fun events. This time, I got to tag along while LJ kicked it with our friend eating french fries and dancing to “Sharkbait, hoo ha ha!”.

What does a momma whose been hanging out with a 2 year old a little too much solo lately do when she gets a chance to go out with adults? Totally over dress. Sweet!
I even did my hair like a big kid! I was so proud until I realized that I have one layer that was just a bit too short and needed 45 bobby pins to stay in. Whatevs. I did it, for like the first time since LJ was born. Gold star for me
We had a blast, HP was AWESOME, we got a bunch of free snacks at our free movie, oh, and free babysitting (YOU ARE THE BEST AMANDA! We owe you and your future kid!). Best night out for this momma!

LOOOOhhhOOVe this outfit! You are inspiring me so much, Momma! I have had a pair of white jeans in my closet for about a year now. Bought them because they are SO comfy and on sale for 75% off.. heck yes. Then I wore them once and never again. I got too many awkward comments about them… nothing bad.. but they just brought me so much attention, and I was not used to it. I felt like I shouldnt be wearing them! But I think it is time for me to bust them out! THANK you for all the white pant outfit lately… I think Im gonna go for it!
I love how you paired the white pants with the white shirt. The grey blazer and the teal shoes really make your outfit pop and come together. Brilliant! Your hair looks amazing btw.. and YAY for a fun grown up date night!!
Super cute outfit!
You have such nice skin (uhh..hope that doesn’t sound creepy!). Do you use any special products to keep it looking fresh?

Looks so cute! I love that shirt! We went to HP last night too! Not a special showing but staying up late was definitely worth it!
I wish I looked as you cute as you last night at the premier! I love the whole outfit!! Too stinkin’ cute!!
I loved the movie! I cried for like twenty straight minutes {major headache!}. SO good! I want to go again and see it!
So worth the exhaustion that I am feeling right now!
I am totally loving that outfit! Lookin’ HOT Mamma!!
LOVE this outfit! Seriously you look great!
You look beautiful! LOVE the outfit. I can totally relate to over dressing when actually getting a chance to go out child-free. It’s nice to actually put something on that doesn’t have a ketchup stain or dried snot on it
ok, thats it….i’m kidnapping you and you’re coming to Melbourne to be my personal stylist
Great outfit! Totally understand the whole dressing up because you’re going out without your baby!
Love the outfit and Love the hair!!
Super cute hair!
HOT mama!!!
Oh, my gosh! You look amazing (a night out without a little one will do that for you)! I so love the white and grey with the turquoise/teal shoes. Awesome. Just totally awesome (and there we have it folks, I am indeed a child of the eighties). Happy weekend!
Ditto what Nichole L asked with the skin. What is your secret? Your skin always has a “glow” to it. I {heart} your hair like that!
Love this white top…I’m on a hunt for one
The pants too, for that matter! And I don’t think I’ve been properly introduced to those SHOES yet…close up please! They make my heart go pitter patter!
Love the outfit, especially the punch of color of the shoes. Those are the best.
I’m jealous of your date night, but so glad you got to enjoy some much deserved fun!
The outfit is so cute! I love the color of the shoes. White & grey clothes really does make the shoes pop out. You look great!
You look beautiful! Oh, that blazer is so cute.. and that ruffled shirt. Oh my.
SO so cute!
Love this outfit, especially the ruffles. And the necklace. And the fact that I’m not the only one to overdress a little, given the rare adult night out.
I love your outfit, especially the pop of color with the shoes! Stopping by for the first time from the Pleated Poppy WIWW link up!
