Yesterday was one of those days that I remembered why I pay an arm, a leg, and heck throw the other leg in there too, to live in So Cal. At my apartment, it was kinda murky and generally meh outside. But scoot on down the road 20 minutes to the beach and…….aaaaahhhh.

Yup, Paradise. Paradise Cove to be exact.
Dress: JCrew, Tank: Old Navy, Shirt: Gap Outlet, Sandals: Target, Necklace: JCP, Glasses: Prada
The sun was shining, the water was clear, and the food at Beach Cafe was yummy as always.
The little man and I met up with my aunt, cousin, and grandparents for perfectly sunny lunch on the beach. It was the perfect excuse to wear my new chambray shirt (Gap Outlet, 50% off thank you very much!) that I’ve been on the hunt for. I love it when the piece I’ve been searching for falls into my lap, and on super sale to boot!
LJ was the ultimate in California Cool rockin his shades on the sand.
As we, in all our dorkiness, like to say, “Just another chapter in The Adventures of Minnie (my mom), Mommy, and Boo!”

How fun, a day at the beach!
Nina, you look gorgeous as always! I love the pops of red you are rockin in the necklace and on your toes!
Looks great with the blue shirt.
And LJ LOVE his shades! How cool is he! *hehe*
great oufit!
I am so Jealous, I am no where near the ocean, and at least a 3 day drive to get there.
Oh, I love you moms top too
Soooo beautiful!!
I have those same sandals in turquoise.
How fun! Alaska doesn’t really have sandy beaches and if they did you wouldn’t want to go swimming anyway. So I’m pretty jealous of you right about now!
Found you from the WIWW linky. Adore the look and your son’s shades. You can check out my look here:
