An Oldie, But A Goodie

A MAJOR part of this Real Momma, Real Style journey is to figure out how to utilize my closet better. I’m terrible at it!

Usually, once I figure out an “outfit”…that’s it. That’s the only way I wear something. The same top and cardigan combo, or the same dress with the same shoes. It’s lame, but it’s easy.

But I’m determined to do better! I have so many awesome pieces that I just need to kick myself into my uncomfortable zone and mix them up. So here we go!

Cardigan: Gap Outlet (old), Pink Top: Old Navy (newish), Jeans: Gap, Flats: Off Broadway, Bangles: JCrew/Nordstrom, Ring: Little Miss Momma

I’ve had this camel color drapey cardigan for years. I think longer than I’ve been married. But the pink top is new, and I usually wear it with my super duper hot yellow cardigan. It looks adorable, but it’s the ONLY way I’ve worn the top. Not any more

I love this top cause it reminds me that I’m still young. Sometimes I feel so old being one of a very few people from my HS whose married, let alone with a kid. But this top reminds me I’m only 27, there’s still some playful kid left in me somewhere!

And can we show the new camera remote some love?! WAY better than running and looking like a hot mess. Wish the hubs was home during daylight hours to rock his awesome photog skills. But HEY, this is Real Momma, Real Style….the blank wall remote pics are about as real as it gets!
