So I have to say, I’m SUPER proud of myself this week.
I tend to get REALLY stuck on how I wear things. Like I only wear shirt A with sweater A and never with sweater B. I just wear the same little outfits over and over again. LAME!
So to go along with my whole goal of really using my closet, I figured this week I would try to work an outfit two ways. I know, livin’ on the edge
I started with my bright yellow 3/4 sleeve cardigan and navy/white striped shirt, both from Old Navy (shocking, I know!).
It all started with a little thing I like to call MY BROTHER KICKING BUTT!
I mean, come on…I HAD to rock UCSB colors for B’s game. Duh!
But come on now Nina, where’s the challenge in jeans…really? So I HAD to take it up a notch and figure out how to make this shirt/cardigan combo work for church.
I wore a navy yoga top jersey skirt that I bought when I was pregnant (don’t know if it’s good that I’m reusing it, or depressing that it’s a skirt I bought for my pregnant self?), my brown woven belt, and some copper flats. I normally would have worn my awesome Charles David white wedges, but I haven’t had a pedicure in longer than I would like to admit…no need to show something that unholy in church people.
Not earth shattering, but an accomplishment for me. I’ll take it!
