I would like to share some fabulous news for me…..
MY CAMERA IS ALIVE!!!
We’re not quite sure what was wrong…maybe a slightly stuck shutter, but it seems to have worked itself out! The more we played with it, the better it got, and now it’s back to working!

Anyways, now that I can take pictures, I can show you this LBD that needs a little TLC.
I bought this Issac Mizrahi dress at Target years ago, but it’s never been worn. I have my dear friend’s wedding coming up, and I figured this might work. I was thrilled to pieces when I tried it on and it was actually a little big!
But I also noticed, it’s a little boring. It has princess seaming that runs all the way down the front and has a waist seam that is screaming for something.
But what?
Maybe a satin ribbon sash a la JCrew
Maybe some beading around the neck like this Adriana Papell dress
Or how about flowers like this Suzi Chin dress
I could add a satin band around the waist and do a lace overlay to get this effect
The dress is a nice, thick stretchy knit, so it really does give me a lot of options….maybe too many!
What do you think? Do you have any other ideas?
