I’m so excited to take part in this. I’ve been having such a blast blogging and meeting new bloggy friends, so I hope this gives me the opportunity to meet some new ones!

I’m a SAHM to a wonderful, yet rambunctious 15 month old. We love to go on adventures to the park, a local farm, the beach, basically anywhere that will get us out of the house. Before LJ, I was a 5th grade teacher and absolutely loved my kids. I grew up dancing and spent many hours in the studio or at competitions…I was even lucky enough to go to nationals! I met my husband in 6th grade PE and we have been annoying each other ever since!

My favorite recent post is Friday Family Focus: Blessed, part of my Friday Family Focus series. I love to spend some time each week focusing on the family, how to stregthen it, how to appreciate it, and how to deal with the struggles we all face. This week’s post is on how blessed I am to have my grandparents around so much and such a huge part of my son’s life. Take a peek and remind yourself how blessed you are!

My Favorite Peep of the Week is Dawn from Not Just a Mommy. She has some of the cutest ideas for party themes and decorations! I particularly love her “Cars” party! Using the oil boxes as a flower stand is just such an awesome touch!
